Computerization of Customs Procedures

In an effort to offer quality service to its clients, BURS offers regular importers and exporters the opportunity of using the Direct Trader Input (DTI) facility that enables traders to compile and remotely submit customs declarations electronically to BURS.

The DTI facility has the following advantages for traders:

  1. Around the clock access to their declarations held on the BURS server
  2. Quick service thereby reducing delays and queues at BURS offices
  3. Freedom to work outside of BURS normal hours of business
  4. Access to up-to-date trade related information
  5. The opportunity to integrate with own internal systems
